I’m the indigenous business owner of Vanity Room which offers treatments/procedures in Prince Rupert BC (Medical Director Dr. Deklerk, MD) and Terrace, BC (Medical Director Sylvia Scott, NP). My background- I’ve been a Registered Nurse for 10 years working in the hospital and rural settings. After starting a family I decided 12 hour shiftwork just was not sustainable for my young kids/family so I decided to try out a new area of nursing, Medical Aesthetics. I received my certificates in Botox, Filler, PRP,/Microneedling, Skin care/Chemical peel and Nutritional IV therapy through the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine (CBAM) in 2021. My goal is to help others look, but more importantly feel good about themselves.

After 18 years of nursing here in Terrace while raising my busy family, I’m excited to bring my skills and care into the world of medical aesthetics.
